Look! Another Great Event tomorrow night! Burlesque, Jenniver Davis and more… See what MN Designers and Artists imagine then re-imagine.

Black Arts/Warm Hearts
Join us for a letterpress open house and Valentine’s Day soiree of surreptitious revelation. Thought to be paranormal, early printing was referred to as “The Black Art.” Now behold this long concealed process first hand. See our presses turning and churning. All will be revealed. We invite you to our recently expanded press room with five (new to us) vintage Heidelberg beasts. We’ll have lots of samples to peruse and an exclusive print on press for you to take-away. If that’s not enough letterpress love, our newly released book “Iron Beasts Make Great Beauty” will be for sale along with other merchandise. Rally ‘round the hot dog cart for some famous Natedog’s (with Nate’s house-made Surly mustard!) and enjoy some local brews from Surly, et al. Bring the kids for a special printing activity and be sure to stop in at Hennepin Made (our new basement neighbors) who will be demonstrating their phenomenal glass blowing techniques. 1621 East Hennepin Avenue #B10, Minneapolis MN 55414  Enter the building on 16th Avenue SE info@studioonfire.com studioonfire.com 612 379 3000

Topic of the week: Get Involved Locally

Designers are always updating their portfolios, their skills, their network and their style. Getting involved in our amazing design community here in the Twin Cities is a great way to keep with the times and even make a new friend here and there. This week FUSE is searching out great upcoming events to attend. If you find anything that might be interesting please let us know!

Here is an event at MCAD highlighted on AIGA Minnesota’s Event Page.
